Slow Positive Progress

In the past few weeks we have been chasing a miss. We changed everything from ignition box, to ignition switch. It happened to be the $5.00 switch and we cured the miss. After weeks of chasing it we are back on an even playing field. We also chased some rear end problems and they are all cured now. This past weekend was the first weekend without the miss and the car was great. I won my heat at Merrittville Speedway and was leading the feature until the suspension broke in the LR. Well after a night of mixed emotions, we came home in 16th Saturday night at Merrittville Speedway. I really struggled at the start of the race, and after a left rear flat tire, which exploded like a NASCAR tire does, we got it changed and got back out at the tail of the field. The track was really slick and bite was few and far between. After the restart I manged to get up to 14th spot at the checkers, but was penalized 2 spots for jumping the restart. Just a little bit of body damage and some new rubber to be mounted, and the 88 will be ready to go.
